  8. To describe how to create the Advanced Power Management diskette.

  11. Creating the Advanced Power Management diskette
  12. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13. APMDISK.EXE is a "self-extracting" ZIP file.  Follow the steps below to
  14. create a diskette containing the Advanced Power Management files.
  15.  
  16.  1. Insert a diskette into the diskette drive (drive a:)
  17.  2. Open an OS/2 Full Screen or OS/2 Window session
  18.  3. Copy the APMDISK.EXE file to the diskette.  From the
  19.     directory containing the APMDISK.EXE file, type
  20.        copy apmdisk.exe a:
  21.  4. Change to the diskette drive. - type
  22.        a:
  23.  5. Type
  24.        apmdisk
  25.  6. Display the directory on the diskette to make sure
  26.     that files have been created -  type
  27.         dir
  28.  7. If no files other than APMDISK.EXE are present, repeat
  29.     steps 1-3
  30.  8. Once other files have been created, you may erase the
  31.     APMDISK.EXE file.
  32.  9. You may also erase the M76PMO.EXE, APMDISK.EXE, and
  33.     the README files from your hard disk.
  34. 10. See the README.APM file on the diskette for information on
  35.      installing and using Advanced Power Management.
