- To describe how to create the Advanced Power Management diskette.

- Creating the Advanced Power Management diskette
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- APMDISK.EXE is a "self-extracting" ZIP file. Follow the steps below to
- create a diskette containing the Advanced Power Management files.

- 1. Insert a diskette into the diskette drive (drive a:)
- 2. Open an OS/2 Full Screen or OS/2 Window session
- 3. Copy the APMDISK.EXE file to the diskette. From the
- directory containing the APMDISK.EXE file, type
- copy apmdisk.exe a:
- 4. Change to the diskette drive. - type
- a:
- 5. Type
- apmdisk
- 6. Display the directory on the diskette to make sure
- that files have been created - type
- dir
- 7. If no files other than APMDISK.EXE are present, repeat
- steps 1-3
- 8. Once other files have been created, you may erase the
- APMDISK.EXE file.
- 9. You may also erase the M76PMO.EXE, APMDISK.EXE, and
- the README files from your hard disk.
- 10. See the README.APM file on the diskette for information on
- installing and using Advanced Power Management.
